Netherton is a 40 year veteran of real estate investment and development. He is a former professor of land planning at the University of California-Irvine, USA. He lives in Newport Beach, California. Adrienne Schmitz is the senior director of publications at the Urban Land Institute. She is the author and editor of several books and articles on real estate and urban planning topics, including The New Shape of Suburbia and The Residential Development Handbook. She lives in Washington, DC. USA.
