"Better then the original."

This is by far the best controller I've ever used, while I found rocker buttons underneath the controller to be annoying at first, once I got used to using them, it became natural to use them.

If I go to an Xbox Lan party, I always take my Sabertooth. Much better then the original 360 controllers and a cut above the Razer Onza.

"PC friendly, beware of USB sound issues on the 360"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I've been using the Sabertooth for 4+ hours every day for over a month on both the 360 and PC and this is what I've found.

Xbox 360: Using a USB powered headset with this controller is going to give you issues. The Xbox has a noisy USB bus that emits a loud hiss. The only way to get around this is to plug your headset's USB into a different device like a phone charger – I would plug mine into my monitor instead of my 360 and that would reduce the hiss – for more info Turtle Beach give a good explanation http://support.turtlebeach.com/…0517565&Msg=

The dpad works far better than the press and pray Microsoft Controller – however I found myself attaching the little rocker switches that go underneath the controller and mapping them to the dpad up and right buttons and the left and right bumpers using the program tool – they gave me even better certainty that I was going to use an Ops pack in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer rather than whipping out a missile.

I thought the profiles were going to be gimmicky but it is surprising how useful they can be.

The quality of the controller is reasonable but loses a star as within just a few weeks the right bumper had lost some springiness and now needs an extra firm pull if I use it. Thanks to the program tool I just ended up remapping it to a rocker switch below – however I expected it to last longer than a month before showing wear.

PC: I've been using it to play Tomb raider 2013 on my PC, all the controls are responsive and it is no different to playing on the 360

Final thoughts. Hm… It hasn't really changed my gameplay I haven't noticed any lag difference between using wireless and using wired. The d-pad is a big improvement though and removes a lot of frustration that the MS version gave. The headset issue is not Razer's fault but it would have been nice if they had told me in their manual how to deal with it instead of having to hunt a solution down on the net. Good as a PC controller.

My brother always raved about these controllers, and I can see why… And as always, a prompt delivery from my favourite online shop :)

"Wow, it's so lovely.."
5 stars"

Practically flawless I must say, I don't know where to begin.. First receiving this here machine I was very pleased to have it presented in a fairly heavy duty quality carrying case; I half expected yellow lights to come from it after opening it like a chest of treasure xD The feel of the non-slip rubberized surface is a welcome feature I must say. The six programmable buttons are quite handy also, the rocker triggers are surprisingly natural feeling and respond very very well. All the buttons being mechanical was a big change, soon getting used to pressing so gently I started to love it more than any other control! The backlights and LED screen were something else, very nice indeed.. Lets me show off a little xD Being able to change the programmable buttons so easily is great!! don't have to go through any confusion or anything, just activate program mode press the button and you're done! Being a Computer gamer too it was nice being able to change stick sensitivity. The detachable braided fiber cable of 3m is great!! as with all Razer products haha. All in all I love this control and recommend it to any gamer c: just to add… GREEN ANALOG STICK GRIP CAPS, nice surprise.. I love neon green haha Well done Razer! Nice durable feel

I have run the razor onza bf4 controller since it came out, was very happy with it and thought it was great, never had a drama with it. i have used this one for a few hours and cannot believe how good it is, a true game changer in the way you play.. i would have been happy to pay 300.00 for this controller. i will never ever use anything else. i will buy a spare one and keep it boxed for later on in life if anything happens to this one. a must indeed!!!

I've been a big fan of the Razer Onza despite its problems, when my 5th Onza died it was finally out of warranty, so time to get a new one. That’s when I found out about the Sabertooth. This controller is everything the Onza should have been and then some. It has the same great comfy shell and everything I have read about it states it is way more durable than the onza and holding it I believe them. The sticks feel great and the new rocker switches feel very natural. It is a bit pricey but its worth it, its a very comfy controller.

Definitely recommend this controller. Takes a while to get used to the buttons at the back but once you get used to them, then it'll help out a lot! Especially in cod! :D

"Love it so much I got two."

Best controller I have ever used period. Only fault is that the chord eventually kind of wore itself out, I honestly don't how else to describe it, but one should definitely keep an eye out for potential damage as this is what killed my last sabertooth. Still it is such a good controller that I bought another one and am still giving it 5 stars.

"good until fragile chord breaks"

was a great controller until the the wires in the chord (which is detachable) started to break and you cant buy a replacement. looking into the problem this is something that is really really common so would not recommend the product

This controller works right out of the box, nicely packed in its own bag for easy travels and feels really nice, and the back lights under the ABXY is a really nice touch too

"Excellent, comfortable and cool to the touch."

Loads of buttons and triggers – some you can remove if you want (although excellent for shifting on driving games), nice long cable and great for both xbox or PC – highly recommended.

"Takes a while"

I am sure that for anyone who owns an xbox wont find any issues with this controller, on the other hand for people like me who have ever only owned ps3 and pc it will be a different story.
the controller took some getting used to trying to hit the lb and rb buttons almost always resulted in my fingers activating the rocker switches on the bottom of the controller, and if I actively try not to hit the rocker switches it feels like I am stretching my hands in to awkward positions.

on the other hand things I do like about the controller are the thumb sticks they have a really nice hollowed out feeling to them, so you know your thumbs wont be going anywhere. They also provide extra slip on grippers for them for I don't know if you plan on eating greasy food and playing at the same time, also the hyper responsive buttons are awesome too they really give you a nice tactile feel and an audible click when ever they are pressed.

(note only the a,b,x,y buttons are the only hyper responsive buttons)

so final verdict is that it is an awesome controller i'm sure xbox users will find no fault with it what so ever though ps users beware it will most likely take some getting used too.
