You really need this, since its an nice upgrade from an basic desktop mice either an ball or optical, this is laser. These days 800 DPI is not enough and 2000 DPI will be too fast for many users.
So what have I found out for this mouse, well once I hooked it up it just worked without extra drivers. The buttons work perfectly well and the mouse glows red.
Unlike some other mice that I had in the past that had 2000 DPI and didn't have light on the top, which really makes finding the mouse in the night hard.
So 1600 DPI is the best range to suit any user's needs. Even better, for $55 bucks you also get an game. So your getting an 1600 DPI mouse for Less than $30.
With Razer branded products you can expect good value for your hard earned cash and reliable performance.
