Apple Pie Quest Bar Review

“.. I'm pretty familiar with the Quest lineup but dont think I've ever had the Apple Pie flavor so this was a treat. Quest makes some of the best, gluten-free bars around and the Apple Pie is no different. Low calorie, moderately low carb, high fiber and low sugar. Awesome. I think the ingredient panel speaks for itself. My "usual” protein bar of choice literally has more than twice the sugar, and more carbs so it was nice to have something so tasty with such a nice profile.

Taste: It tastes pretty much as the name states, Apple Pie. Not exactly, it's a little short on the crust aspect, but damn good. I think apple cobbler might be more suited. The apple chunks and flavor is very clear and distinct. I took a bite right out of the package and thought it was good tasting, but microwaving it for 10 seconds makes it 10× better. It's literally a night & day difference, almost like eating a dessert. The texture is dense and chewy. Overall very satisfying flavor and texture. Final thoughts: Is it my favorite protein bar ever?
