So, I’ve had it for a day at this stage. I got it for 2 reasons, one being the 2.1 amp output (wireless charging minimum) and the other being the Bluetooth capability.
Right off the bat it was super easy to set up, no annoying ‘pairing’ button or anything like that which is awesome. Only issue with setting up was that it was really hard to fit in the cigarette lighter socket, I had to put it side ways and even then it was tight. But that’s obviously a car issue, just saying that you should check the dimensions of it.
In terms of regular use, when you charge with it and connect it to the radio it whines, there clearly isn’t enough internal dampeners to prevent interference from the USB port messing with the audio processing.
It also starts to crackle, but I find just changing the FM by 0.1 fixing it, then that will go out, and you change it back down. Bit of a pain but very workable.
Finally, make sure you have your phone volume all the way up. Otherwise as you increase your car radio volume it whines because it has to amplify the signal.
All things considered, there are better products out there I imagine, but if you’ve only got 40 bucks to spend this is a great buy.
