Stella Gurney's previous books include My Dad, the Hero, Kasia's Surprise (both for Walker), The Princess' Handbook (Templar) and Mr Bickle and the Ghost (Evans). She is also co-writer of the best-selling monster-puppet series illustrated by Sam Lloyd, which includes Calm Down, Boris! (Richard & Judy's Best Book for Christmas 2006). Stella lives in Brixton, London and has two young boys.
