Eddie Ways, a once wealthy suburbanite, finds himself hanging around the social underworld of Chicago. His adventures, including his fixation on Lisa Cones, a prostitute, lead to discoveries about life at large and his own life in particular.
P W Fox has been a Chicago area resident for most of his life. His stories have appeared in dozens of literary journals. He enjoys hiking and photographing the south-western mountains; he collects antiques, plays the saxophone. The book cover's photographic montage was created from the author's own photographs of Chicago's Uptown section. This is his first novel.
