Hahnemann always insisted on the necessity of searching for the mental symptoms for the selection of the remedy but his work does not contain cases relating to the particular treatment of psychic anomalies. In this field Dr Gallavardin has very fortunately completed the work of the master. Dr Gallavardin had on the other hand the excellent idea of adding to these studies the indications and results concerning the plastic and tropic troubles, localised and general. The success obtained in these cases has moreover the privilege of demonstrating the action of quite infinitesimally small doses and this, in an obsoletely irrefutable manner because that action is manifested by the very concrete and material manifestations. The material language which reveals quite immaterial power! And this helps us to affirm once more that to limit the use of high infinitesimally would deprive our therapeutics of a great part of its curative effect.
