PS4 Console previews

So far the PS4 specs sound really, really good. For one, it will have 8gb GDDR5 (unified) ram. The PS3 had 512mb total. The Wii U has 1gb. Enough said. There is also quite a lot of games already announced for it. One of them is a new Killzone, and judging by the trailer, it looks amazing! The controller is pretty much the only physical thing shown so far, but it looks great too. I wasn't a big fan of the Dualshock 3 but the Dualshock 4 looks to fix any problems that its predecessors had.

As an owner and avid user of both the XBox 360 and PS3 games consoles I believe I have pretty unbiased opinion on the pros and cons of each system. Each system is unique in its own way and by and large compare comparatively evenly making it a viable option to own both.

If you have kept up with the corporate press releases and watched E3 then you know the story of each new gen console. If you don't then go read up, I'm too lazy to list it for you.

Ok here's the thing for me with the new generation XBox One and the PS4.

XBox One – Right now I'm feeling if I buy a Xbox One I'm selling my soul. DRM DRM DRM is all I have in my head. So no thanks Microsoft, no way.

PS4 – Yeah baby!!! Same ownership and right to share and resell your games as former Playstation platforms!!! Right now I'm going to buy one.

As a caution we still need to read more of the fine print on each console and keep up with forthcoming corporate press releases.

I'm a Xbox fanboy. After the reveal I really didn't like “Xbox One” you can't borrow games like come on Microsoft you screwed it up this time, There's NOTHING wrong with the PS4 so I will go with it. It's gonna be exciting! Nice work Playstation

Oh yeah! The highly acclaimed Playstation console just made history. Sony made it clear that they wanted to create a true next gen console by adding in PC-like specifications, social interactions and unify it in one ultimate architecture!

For all those who cant get their head around the price difference between US and NZ remember $399 US = $499 NZ then you have the Customs Charges of Biosecurity Fee, Documentation Fee Import Fee etc plus Freight per unit Plus GST when all Added Up it equates approx to what you paying.

Hopefully it can top the xbox this time in sales and in overall quality, cannot wait for the console design revel the controller already looks sweet aswell as the line up of games, October 25th is going to be one hell of a good day

i dont understand the pricing. $399 US doesnt convert to $649 NZ. may aswell by one from overseas. Still getting this over xbox one though

Unlike xbox one, ps4 will not restrict sale, rental or lending to friends of second hand games. Xbox will not allow lending without paying for game.

It will also be region free meaning you can import games from UK or US if they dont release in NZ. It also doesnt require the camera to be connected all the time like xbox (kinect must be plugged in or the console doesnt work) or be online and check in to home once a day like xbox one (xbox one will stop allowing you to play games unless it can check in to ms home servers once every 24 hours over broadband).

It also has 8Gb of DDR5 memory to xbox ones 8Gb of DDR3 – twice the speed. The hard drive in the ps4 will be removable by the user and also upgradeable as well – the xbox one does not allow removing the HDD.

I personally almost always trade my used games in and put the money towards a new game – there is only one platform that will allow this to be done unrestricted, trademe, ebgames etc however you choose to resell.

I also like being able to borrow games from friends and rent them out to try before buying and again MS xbox will be blocking this.

Microsoft is going all fun police on gamers.. Trying to restrict everything and generally taking away choice and options – and consumers should vote with their wallets.

More powerful, cheaper by $100 then the Xbone, better exclusives, supports used games, doesn't need a internet connection unlike the Xbone and is region free.

So, we've finally seen it now. It's cheaper and doesn't have the same ‘licensing’ restrictions that Xbox 1 has for preloved titles. You don't have to authenticate to the PSN either. Big Ups to you Sony!! I'm just keen to know what more can be done with the new version of the Sony Eye!

Even though Xbox One may have hits like Fable and Halo, most big games are cross platform, and the PS4's exclusives absolutely SLAY the Xbox's!! Plus what settled it for me, no preowned game tax!!

I have been looking around online at the specs and comparing them to the Xbox One and the PS4 is so much better! It will be faster and will run games smoother than the Xbox One! Another feature I like about the PS4 is that it has a bit of a design to it whereas the Xbox One looked like an old VCR. The PS4 is also slimmer which is a good feature for a next gen console! I am strongly thinking about getting a PS4 if I move away from PC Gaming!

All you need to know is that it is the best console on offer to date. It also is the best value for money. Sure you can pump hundred or thousands of dollars into a high end PC rig, but try getting a PC rig with these specs, for this price, that's this small and this good, then you have an argument.

The PS4 will have 100 games in its catalogue within the first year of its release so there definitely will not be a shortage of games for you to select from. If your a PS Plus member your membership will carry over and you will get a free PS4 game (DriveClub) on launch. The value in Sony's latest services has been unparalleled in today's market and that is why they have the reputation that they do. They will also have games that will be free to play. You won't have to buy them you can just download them and play them.

Unlike the Xbox One, you can actually play without the need of an internet connection. You can also share, lend and resell games whenever you want unlike the Xbox One.

This is the console you want for your family, your friends and yourself.

This is the perfect upgrade for any current Xbox 360 or PS3 owner. It does not come with the Playstation Eye (Camera), which is approximately $60 extra, but it's good that it gives you the option to purchase it or not. It does not need online to play games, which will be perfect for taking on holiday. However, to play games online, you DO NEED to purchase PS+ – This is about a $90 per year subscription. This gives you many great free games per month and many other benefits.

This console has my vote.

The direction Sony is taking really appeals to me, i.e. Focusing on games, supporting indie developers, impressive tech, ultra fast tech, and features like no-loading-screens and downloads happening instantly. They already deserve to win this ‘console war’ just on principles alone.

The PS4 will be Cheaper, Faster and Better than the XBOX ONE! Doesn't have to check in every 24 hours and you can lend your games to anyone, with no restrictions at all. The same can not be said about the more expensive, less powerful XBOX One that needs an internet connection to allow you to play offline. Microsoft have lost the console war by far!

Epic as long as it doesn't have anti-used game technology, otherwise we will witness the biggest next gen console flop ever, if it does have the ability to use preowned, look out mightyape cause i want me one lol.

I think the saddest thing about the PS3 was that I had to sell one of my arms to pay for it on release date but with the release price of the PS4 being closer to 5–600 (if my math/ guess work is right) and this being cheaper than the Xbox One I can't wait to get playing Final Fantasy on this thing :D

I did not regret buying the 360 it is a great game console. When I heard the Xbox One was coming out I was excited until they said no used games, every 24 hours internet check up also lack of anything new. I'm buying the Playstation 4 because its gamer friendly and its heaps better than the Playstation 3.

Ever since I brought the original xbox and the 360 I have always backed microsoft up but now I have drop kicked them out of my life to welcome my new buddy PS4 :) microsoft killed Xbox by making it the way “they think” is best for us and what seems to work, Sony on the other hand asked what we & the developers wanted and listened to us. If they wanted to bring in more TV TV TV TV in xbox then they should have just made a Tv company instead of Gaming. They forgot about the gamers and what we wanted. thank you Sony :) you have impressed me and lured me into being a Playstation Fanboy.

$750 vs $650-… Here, take my money PlayStation. I save $100.

I'm an Xbox 360 player, but the PS4 is the one for me.

For one, it's a gaming console, for games.

Sony are pro-consumer, and care about the customers that will by their product. They care about our experiences as gamers and understand what we do and don't want. That is why the PS4 is the better next-gen console.

Not only is the price better, but for what you get out of the PS4, it is a much better investment for your money.

If you support the gaming industry, the PS4 is the way to go.

Cannot wait!!! It will be awesome! The game titles being released for PS4 are also exciting!

The one major thing stopping me from getting this console and sticking with a PC. As it stands you have to play for PSN+ to play online.

Let's get this out of the way, as for you concerned about price, let's remember that the PS3 was $1,000 when it launched, this is only $650! Let alone the fact that the Xbox One is $750, which is still a good price but not as good. Also, of course this wasn't ever going to be DISK backwards compatible. It's simply too difficult to incorporate and again, neither is the Xbox one. Ate least with the PS4, you can play PS1, PS2 and possibly even PS3 games (in the future) via streaming, and yes, again, this is not the case with Xbox One. Not to mention every other flaw associated with the Xbox One hardware. If only the Xbox One hardware wasn't so disappointing with it's 24 hour suicide check and the fact that you can only “gift” games once to a friend who you've been friends with on the console with for a month ONCE. Also, not being able to buy used games. Don't get me wrong, the Xbox One has promising exclusives, but because of all the other downfalls, it simply isn't worth it, especially considering the extra $100 price tag. There's really no point arguing this, so I am stating, that the Sony PS4 will be the dominant next generation console. Thank you.

For those out there saying Sony has deliberately increased the price for New Zealand buyers and that USD 399 does not equal NZD 649, here's some math for you:

• Take USD 399 and exchange to NZD
• Add 15% GST
• Add NZ Customs charges and levies
• Add freight to NZ

Your total will equal NZD 649 or thereabouts. Any difference is minor and I would consider it simply as buffer for Sony to protect themselves against fluctuations in the exchange rate. This all seems pretty fair in my opinion.

I'll be sure to grab one of this for christmas ,the controller was the best thing in this console it has a headphone jack which is very convenient because you don't have to buy the expensive wireless headphones. :) thumbs up for sony :D

I think the best way to review this is by saying that it simply surpasses every competitor on every front

I believe both the Xbox One and the PS4 will be great consoles for the next gen. However the Previews here on Mighty Ape contain large amounts of unsubstantiated opinions and incorrect information about both consoles. So my advice – be wary and do your own research!

Both consoles are very similar to one another and I doubt you will see much graphical difference in quality between them and, if you do, it won't be evident until late in the life cycle of these consoles. If you are evenly slightly interested in motion and voice controls, then Xbox is the way to go with Kinect 2.0. On the other hand the PS4 comes in slightly cheaper (due to a lack of bundled PS Eye) so if price is relevant then this might be your deciding factor. If you're into online gaming, Xbox have been the front-runner in the past and have offered dedicated servers to developers through the Microsoft Azure cloud. But PS4 will be right on their heels with Gaikai.

Overall, I might come down to the games you prefer. Many games from many publishers will be multi-plat so (again) both consoles will be great! But each console will have its exclusives. Be wary of the Previews on here and go out and do your own research about the consoles and their exclusive games. Figure out which games and features suit you best! I truly believe both consoles will be successful.

I was gonna pre order it.. But ever since Microsoft backed down not anymore. I mean the xbox one is only 100 more expensive but with better launch games , a controller designed for your hand and a better fps .. By double , seeing you can do everything normally now not too sure I see the point in getting the ps4 , I mean , Microsoft have the best multimedia system in the world

This is cheaper and more powerful than the Xbox One, It has more features that will actually work outside of the US, It gives you the right to sell, lend and buy pre-owned games, It does not require an online connection every 24 hours to function, It has better exclusive launch titles, and it does not spy on you with a creepy, always-on camera.

It delivers on what the customer wants, rather than what is necessarily “best” for the company. If you are tossing up between this or the Xbox One, choose the PS4! It is superior in virtually every way!

First let me say that I am a huge Xbox fan. I own bother the 360 and the ps3 and the 360 is my primary, but the ps4 is going to be my move not only is this the best option by far but they have beaten the Xbox out of the water but its user friendly its the best upgrade of the two. Power on Sony!!!!!!

I am a huge fan of the Xbox 360 for the following reasons, 1. The controller is just much more comfortable, 2. Online play with Xbox Live is so smooth, 3. Loading times and download speeds much better than the PS3. The graphics and gameplay have been pretty much even between them.

Now as for the PS4, it looks amazing and I will definitely be getting one. I dont think that the graphics and gameplay will differ much between Xbox one and I really think that between now and launch of the consoles Xbox/Microsoft will have no choice but to reverse their decision and allow used game sales otherwise they wont be selling any consoles at all!…will not at least to me.

Like I said im a huge Xbox fan and this has really urged me to change to the PS4. The only gripe I have about the PS4 is I wish they had decided to swap the left thumb stick with the directional pad. But even I will put up with that after Microsofts HUGE mistake.

Oh and to all those whining PC gamers…go build a PC for $600 that has the graphics quality of these machines and portability/size that they offer.

From day one I am fan of sony games as well as the console they make. Xbox1 should have to release Xbox4 to compete with sony ps4. 8GB RAMDDR5 Unbeatable : )

I have been a Playstation fan for a long time, and this new console is just gong to re-invigorate my love, and love of all gamers love. This console is the gamers console, no wonder it's IGN's peoples choice. The specs on it are amazing, the huge 8gb ram is really good, graphics are going to be amazing. The controller is an upgrade from the old, even though personally I did not have a problem with he dualshock 3. The games released already look good. As witht eh controversy with Xbox one, they hit and missed, this ordeal with not being able to re use games is sad, even though the specs aren't bad at all, the XBOX One gaming console is not really a console any more, to me it focuses on everything else, than gaming as a side project.

PS4 is the console to buy but we are going to have to pay $140 more than US gamers and that's the disappointment. $550 would have been a fair price.

My life will be complete when the PS4 & GTA V Releases! COMPLETE I TELL YAH! :D

Here's some facts with the new consoles…

The system, PS4 hasn't fully finalised the DRM on there console, Xbox One hasn't exactly either, but PS4 doesn't have the must connect every 24 hours system check up thing. So PS4 wins there. Xbox – 0 PS4 – 1

Xbox one has a larger online player base and service, PS4 on the other hand has a smaller online player base and service, so Xbox wins with that. Xbox – 1 PS4 – 1

PS4 is bringing ‘pay to play online’ (PSN+) at $90NZD for 12 months, Xbox one's 12 month Gold varies from $60 to $88. Although PSN+ has slightly more than XBL Gold, Microsoft has stepped up there game at E3 with more benefits for Gold users mirroring what Sony has, so it's a tie with this. Xbox – 1 PS4 – 1

Now performance! PS4 clearly wins hands down BUT! Xbox One has Microsofts Cloud feature tied to it, with this feature it gives the Xbox One almost double the performance to what the PS4 outputs. To give you a scale of what it's capable of, if Microsoft wanted they could run BF4 off the Cloud feature. So Xbox wins this part. Xbox – 2 PS4 –1

So this leave us with games, I'd have to say they both have great games, the Xbox with it's exclusives, and the PS4 with it's exclusives and indies, but Xbox One takes it away with it's larger selection of AAA titles which the majority of people play. Xbox One – 3 PS4 – 1

So all in all I would say Xbox One wins Overall with better games, service and performance but PS4 is still up there if you don't like being stared down a strict path and just wana chill out with games offline etc.

But then again PC is dominant over both these kids :)

The only good thing about this ps4 is that it comes with 4 controllers instead of 1 like on Xbox one but u need 4 cause they brake in 5 min and feel like a baby made them out of cardboard Sony still in the shadow of Xbox and Microsoft and always will be Xbox one is a lot better full stop

Its cheaper and has better hardware than the Xbox one. The only down side is the package comes with no games. Looks like Sony is going to beat Microsoft in the next gen console race. One word to describe the new Xbox............ “Doggies” XD

I have been keeping up with all the news and E3 and everyone can see how much better the PS4 is compared to the Xbox one, also I have love and enjoyed my gaming years since the PS1 and Sony always manages to give the gamers what they want

Ps4 won me over just by saying. “Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released on PS4” and along with Final Fantasy 15. SO I'm looking forward to that. I would have considered the Xbox one if they weren't so money grabbing to think of the customer.

I have always been an xbox fan. But boy did they get too demanding with the xbox one. PS4 did everything right and should be every ones first choice system. Just the trade game thing alone is worth going for it.

To be honest, even with all MS ‘360’ turn around Sony have really done it again. Although the PS3 was over priced they have listened to what customers want really delivered. All the cool games are an excellent add-on…Even though all the speculation that Xbox One can out ship PS4 by 3 times doesn't mean they will sell more. Can't wait for this beast!

So wait it can not play PS3, PS2 or PS1 games. this is an epic fail on both Sony and that other thing called x-box. Gamers love to re-liive the time when games like FF7,8,9, the original Metal gear, crash series, kindom hearts and so on I could be here naming every game but that would take to long. I know in a previous comment something might come out later on, all this is doing is making Sony richer as gamer's and fans will have to buy the console and all new games and start all over with there collection of games. yes I love collecting games but come on sony sort it out.

Sony continues to raise the bar again with the latest in cutting edge technology. Sony have said it wont b as expensive as what the PS3 was when it was released

you do the math, never been a big sony Fan but they have hit one out of the park with the PS4. At the same time MS have quite simply got it wrong plain and simple.

If you want a next gen GAMING CONSOLE there is only one choice.

I know it is going to be a great console and in my opinion better than the Xbox one but saying things like “Yes you can play and lend/borrow used games” Is annoying, Previous consoles could do that so why make it a feature of the PS4– And “Fleet of firstparty exclusives” Their are only a few, I guess but KillZone is the only one that I am slightly interested in. Knack, Infamous not so much to be honest. “Indie Games-"Good more games but the term Indie games doesn't mean anything in the actual game itself, just a smaller group making it. This right here is the difference between a PC and a console, Because you can afford it and friends can too, creating a larger community and more fun.

I stood in the line at Armageddon repeatedly to go and use this console. The new dual shock 4 and the games are so incredible and such a massive step up from before. I will definitely be getting this (with the new Killzone game) when its released.

Now dont get me wrong im exited for ps4 but im hoping now that you need to pay for online they can offer a better service and start getting better exclusives eg cod dlc on xbox

Curious but would there be a midnight release on release day-

would be tempted, consoles, in theory, are almost identical. Only reson I wont get one is because of the playstations horrible controller.er­gonomicly its horrible for first person shooters which I adore. Thumbsticks are horribly positioned so ill give this a pass.

I thought that had made up my mind that it is a PS4 for me but then on closer examination of the console packages… the PS4 appears cheaper than the Xbox one by $100 but it does not include the PS4 eye camera which would be equivalent to the Xbox one kinect…which is included in the Xbox one package…hmm…with Microsoft backtracking on an ‘always on’ internet connection and now being able to play used, resold or traded games without fees- is making me think again…

After E3 annoucements I was stoked that PS4 will not have the same tight restrictions that its competition Xbox one does, such as 24 hour internet check in, blocked 2nd hand games and so on. I will glad to get PS4 for my next gen gaming needs because I value true consumer ownership, and PS4 allows you to do it.

Just preordered PS4. It's great you can still use dics and resell. My only hope is that the cooling fan on the PS4 is alot quieter then the PS3 which peeved my wife off at times. Or is that ex wife after the PS4 arrives :P

Yes the specs for the new ps4 look sharp but we all know how much of a disappointment the ps3 was when first hyped for release. I personally am waiting for Microsoft answer with the new xbox to see what they are going to be doing before reserving my judgement on this console. For now it look good from a gaming console point of view and at lest they have put a little more focus on the gaming side of things rather than the home media side like with the current ps3.

Im not sure if im going to get an xbox because of the dumb idea Microsoft of not letting you not lend games,but the look of the xbox is hella better than the ps4. it looks like they got kindergarten students to send in ideas for the look of it . no offence on playsation fans but sonys lost it .

I play online every nite and paid for alot of xbox games,headpho­ne,turtle beach headphone,wirless controller. but the two new console ps4/xbox-one it looks like the ps4 is the way to go by compairing the to console. xbox360 is very great console and the xbox-one supposedly the next great console not this time PS4

It is with great regret that I am to inform you all that Microsoft has unfortunately suffered a miscarriage from a massive kick to the guts from Sony. RIP Xbox One, dead before arrival.

Sony's Playstation 4 has destroyed Microsoft's Xbox One on all fronts, and with the price of the PS4 being 50% cheaper than it's opponent this is the console to get.

Playstation 4 is by far the best console EVER! Because it is better then Xbox One. Playstation 4 has Watch dogs Killzone: Shadowfall, Call of Duty Ghosts and, and I WISH that Grand Theft Auto V would be on PS4 as well.

The only thing that keeps me from switching to ps4 is the small controllers.. My hands cramp trying to hold onto these little things. I love everything else about the ps4 bar that. If they ever bring out a larger control I may have to make the switch.

I'm a PC gamer, but I won't be for too long though. I turned to PC once I saw the potential it had over the last gen consoles, they were just too old and tired at that point. But, I'm so glad that a new-gen is about to land. No longer will I be confined to my table and chair, but finally be back to the comforts of the living room and my sick sound system. Keyboard and mouse can be so cumbersome sometimes, but with a single controller in the hand, it just feels so right. As for the PS4, small, cheap and great exclusive titles, what more could you want. Bring on November.

PS4 is looking good I think Sony may take the crown back this Gen.

I will be looking forward to Killzone Shadow Fall, MGS5 and without a doubt the new Naughty Dog game when it gets announced which i'm sure it will very soon :)

Looks okay, better than the xbox one but that's not particularly difficult. The specs are pretty below-average in retrospect. The 8Gb ram is largely pointless in consoles, what is most important is the GPU and CPU. The GPU is about 3 generations behind current gen PCs and the CPU is intended for use in netbooks. The Wii U is more competition than people think, the GPU is only one generation behind and the CPU has potential to perform equally as well. I'll be buying a Wii U and buying all the good looking games on PC. Perhaps I'll pick it up once the price drops. Downvote me all you want, it's all true.

US$399 = NZ$500 and whats the difference between getting them into the states and getting them here. They are made in asia, we are closer and Sony could easily bring in container loads and distribute for under $650. Show us some love Sony NZ

Already pre ordered 15 games for ps4

I'm definitely going to pre-order a ps4 but the xbox one has some nice features to it like the voice recognition and the kinect will always do well for motion sensor. Even Zoo tycoon my favourite classic game is coming on a console that I will have to miss, hopefully it will come on pc because that game is so good otherwise PS4 has won my $$$$.

Reasons are for PS4

1. Powerful console, I believe its more advance in the future technology out now while xbox one sticks by it. 8gb ram GDDR5 thats fine with me. The thing is PC has always win my gaming console but PC totally different story lets not discuss. (The 1.84 TFLOPS.)
2. I really like the new games coming out, I own a xbox 360 and I already miss sony games like Killzone series, and similar games like jack and dexter or ratchet and clank, Thats why I want knack so bad. The games on PS4 most of them a fantastic. It can also play ps3 games like “Last of us ”
3. Social network that PS4 as brought to the table, the downloading while its turned off is perfect and still charging controllers or other peripheral devices. Amazing realistic graphics. Able to play and download at the sametime.
4. And more… Just goes on.

PC is where its at, PS4 hardware is already outdated compared to a high end PCs + games are over priced. If I want to play my PC in my living room then I will spend my money on a Nvidia Project Shield!

I won't buy it unless it backplays my ps3 games, end of story… I don't jam up my lounge with two sets of controllers, two consoles et cetera… I'm not 13.

Otherwise it is a cash grab and I will not accept being shortchanged by gaming companies in any capacity anymore… just ask the trade me buyers who got my Black Ops 2, Rugby Challenge and other titles in the last few days… I'm done with anything less than the best. If it could have been done and you didn't do it, you no longer get my money. End of story.

$399 US = $649 NZ- Maybe with the higher specs included, I'll be able to use it to work out how that conversion goes. My old pc tells me it should =$507 NZ, but..... Maybe they throw in jelly beans with a NZ console

I got late in to this generation of gaming not until about 2009 compared to all my friends. I went with Microsoft because they seemed to me more a gaming console than home theatre, they had too the strategy game selection (not one on PS3), I didn't need large hard drive space (I had a 8MB memory unit space) and I wasn't going online with it anyway so I bought an Xbox 360 arcade. Sony just didn't have anything on offer to suit my needs compared to Microsoft. I have seen the Sony exclusive Yakuza and not as good as Mafia in my honest opinion.

So if Sony can meet my needs and not ask the world for it then yes I might jump back to them (I had previously owned a PSone and PS2).

The PS4 has proven once again that it can beat it's competitor!

Sony has, without a doubt, won this game feud pre-sale. They have stuck to what their customers wanted from day one. No DRM, allowing used games and keeping the price lower than its competitor. Not only that, but they have been even more generous with their PS Plus service. Given you now need this for online, if you are like me and have already been benefiting from this service, you will be happy to know that from day-one, driveclub and resogun will be available to download for free for PS Plus member. Increasing the value of this already insanely-good service. Not to mention all the free-to-play games! Playstation 4 life!

Games look great features look great every thing is nearly great but the controller just looks like a 1.5 version of the ps3 version it still has cool features on it but the design is just the same but so far so good

And its faster, better get my credit card out.

We can all agree that we dislike Microsofts stance on used games, DRM, and, the necessity to have a kinect. That doesn't instantly make the PS4 a fantastic console. Considering you can't build a PC piece for piece like the PS4 we can't know for certain how well it will perform until release. But I'm excited! The pricing difference is most likely due to the expected sales in our country, most consoles are sold at a loss and developers push to make money from game sales. Expected sales in the USA will be five times our own at least, so Sony can afford to lower the price just that little bit more

Are you able to put a down payement – can you pay it off bit by bit till the release date -cheers

It's also directly addressed many of the consumer restrictions that Microsoft has decided to implement.

• No Internet Required.
• Can play used games.
• If you buy a game, you can resell it on trade-me etc.
• Cheaper Online Network.

This for 100 dollars (Which is rough considering it's 100 USD cheaper also, cmon mightyape ;)) cheaper. This is the one to go for guys and girls. Seriously, jump on in.

Looks to be the best next gen console, but am also confused with the pricing $400 US exchanges to roughly $500. Care to explain mighty ape-

Im kinda stuck I mean I have the ps3 right now and its pretty cool but the ps4 looks so awesome as well, Im not sure weather to upgrade to the ps4 or a new Pc Im really stuck and I keep switching back between ps4 and pc its so annoying I really want the ps4 but I also want a pc could some please help – And I know the pc will cost more and I will have to upgrade it more but I love both of them so much :/ Btw ps4 looks so so awesome cant wait

Looks a lot better than the xbox and im getting one but not looking foward to leaving my account.

I play xbox360 ,I have spent a small fortune on all the bits and pieces but the troubles that plague XB are numerous .. we all know this from the RRoD to the updated version E82 error code .. (shuts console down to stop it from frying) now I am having troubles again with the XB turning itself off and yes get this turning itself ON !-WTH-(posessed)nek minnit its going to blow up .. My ps2 sat in the dusty old garage for 4–5 years(looking at me with traitorous eyes) doing exactly that gathering dust , I hooked it up a week ago and wanted to know if it would still work ..Umm yes , it spat into life like a new born .. it was literally covered in dust .. It impressed me greatly , Its why I am leaning towards the PS4 because I know it wont die on me .. XBONE im not to sure ..SONY have a great rep for making reliable long lasting electronic gear , XB well...... good luck on that ONE :-(

My only problem now is if its backwards compatibility to ps3 games.
