Staying true to the Proper Crisps' philosophy, the all-new Smoked Paprika flavour, is 100% natural with no additives, artificial preservatives, colours or flavours. The new flavour is made with freshly hand-harvested Spanish red bell peppers. Immediately after harvesting, the peppers are dried for 15 days in wooden smokehouses over oak wood fires. Once dried, the peppers are ground on traditional granite millstones to produce the finest silky, rust-red paprika that is slightly sweet and distinctly smoky.
Smoked Paprika is not only great tasting but has other benefits too. Paprika, a traditional spice, is known to be unusually rich in Vitamin C and other antioxidants.
Made by hand in sunny Nelson, New Zealand, using only the finest South Island potatoes we think Proper Crisps really are Sunshine in a bag!
