Yet another game turned into a movie and I'm surprised that it was very entertaining. I still remember playing the platform game similar to other adventure scrollers, so it was no surprise this would have the same appeal as Alladin. It kinda reminded me more of Xena: Warrior Princess in the way the story unfolded with twists and turns. Also surprised to see Ben Kingsley in this particular genre as I've often thought he would be a more dramatic actor, but he was an ideal choice for giving his character a tormented soul. The story has a lot of heart. Although there were a couple of places where it did drag on a bit. Special effects were simple but not too hard to follow. If you like time travel twists this will entertain.
