He loves to encourage others to draw close to God through heartfelt prayer and fresh insight from Scripture. James's books have been translated into many languages and have touched the lives of over half a million people. They include Prayers for Prodigals, Praying the Prayers of the Bible, Prayers for Your Children, Peace Through Prayer, Hope Lies Ahead (which he co-wrote with his son Geoffrey), and others. She is the winner of Gold and Silver Medallions, the top CBC books of the year, and Editor of the Year presented by the Association of Christian Writers.
Sam Carbaugh is the author and illustrator of Comics: Investigate the History and Technology of American Cartooning and has illustrated 23 other books, including Robotics, George Washington, and Praying the Prayers of the Bible for Kids. He has created comics and illustrations for Dartmouth College, the State of New Hampshire, Cornerstone University, and many other clients. Sam works as a designer at Our Daily Bread Ministries and lives in West Michigan with his family.
