A follow-up to the author's first book, this book explores advanced pranayama techniques for serious yoga students. Going into more depth with poses and breath exercises, this book also combines the ancient philosophy of the Upanishads with physical practices. Exercises include techniques for bringing energy to the head, eyes, tongue, hands, diaphragm, ribs, and spine, as well as practices involving sounds, images, and breath-retention, for resting deeply and conserving energy.
