What made Poy Poy so amazing was the near perfect gameplay. With the use of few polygons, developers were able to concentrate on the control and response instead of looks. This was a wise choice, and the scintillated, as a result. Poy Poy 2 is just as sweet. Not only does it have the same dead-on gameplay, but now there are more characters (16), more playable arenas (10 in all) and more power gloves (23). To make it even more interesting, the arenas in Poy Poy 2 are multi tiered, enabling you to move to higher ground so you can rain down the hurt, from above. I didn’t get a chance to play one player, and I hope it isn’t as easy to beat as in Poy Poy. It isn’t one player mode, that you buy this game for; it’s two-player... and Poy Poy 2’s two player mode is the best of any multiplayer game, on the PlayStation.
