Harriet Ziefer is an author, publisher, packager, early reading expert, teacher, and wearer of many other hats worn in service of offering books for kids that take them from infancy to independent reading. Yukiko Kido is the creator of the clever "Faces, Faces Everywhere" drawing book and the "Flip-a-Word" series. Born and raised in Japan, Ms. Kido creates her anime-style illustrations using digital media and a bright, bold palette.
