Great series, top acting, costume and scenery. Although not completely evil, George Warleggan ( played by Jack Farthing) is excellent at making Ross Poldark’s life a misery at every opportunity … my wife and I are hooked !

Very well acted, and I enjoyed watching their work.
This series is very close to the books and the acting is phenomenal. Flawed but extremely relatable hero and heroine. Very easy on the eyes, and the scenery , costumes and sets are fantastic. Great secondary characters. Even the Warleggan villain is a three dimensional character with real feelings, although the Vicar villain has no redeeming qualities whatsoever, so we can all hate him and [spoiler alert] enjoy his downfall…
With fans still reeling from the climactic events of series three, the fourth series of the worlds much loved drama Poldark returns for 2018. Ross must defend Cornwall from an empowered George Warleggan, and risks everything he holds dear as he embarks on a political journey which takes him to the nation's capital. Demelza finds her loyalties torn, Elizabeth tries to strengthen her marriage, Morwenna continues to be oppressed by husband Reverend Ossie Whitworth and the Enyses are tested as never before.
