She feels it is a spiritual gift which has helped her examine her own understanding of and relationship to God. This method of putting her convictions into word form began when, as a beginning school teacher, she was isolated from family and long-time friends and living in a small town one hundred miles from home and familiar surroundings. Gradually her gift evolved and became a method of communicating regularly with friends across the country.
