In 2010, Marie launched www.picouture.com whilst photographing Winter Olympic cultural events in Vancouver. This site is her photographic portfolio, her blog, and the platform that she used to launch her poems. At the end of 2011, Marie left England to travel to India. Whilst there, she was able to dive deeper into her loves of photography, writing, and yoga. She trained to be a yoga teacher whilst there, documented her journey in image and word, and began her deepest exploration of poetry.
