PS Vita (Wi Fi) reviews

A great console and a true revolution in the portable gaming industry, but it is sadly unable to play all psp games (so makes it difficult for people to part way with psp's), and the pricing of the console is quite horrible, especially in NZ ($430-$450) and the extra accessories you definitely need are also pricey. Overall good but is better to wait for a price drop from this.

Bought one a couple of days ago and loved it ever since. Price tag isn't so bad at all. The screen has a very high contrast OLED screen that makes it look like a miniature version of a LED tv. Brilliant graphics that is comparable with the PS3.

Definitely a must buy for people who loves gaming or high-end mobile devices.

This console is truly brilliant. The PS Vita has amazing graphics, very responsive touch screen and rear touch pad, the games are excellent good controls and a very easy to use and attractive UI and its all on the go! And the best thing is the many possibilities that the ps vita has and I just cant wait for sony to take full advantage of them.

This console is awesome. But the thing is, that it's $250 from Amazon.com which translates to $300nzd. This thing is region free, what stops people from ordering it from the US and saving over $100 and still being able to play the games here-

I got my bundle for $378 NZD which was a steal! The console is sleek, not too heavy, and easy to hold with some practise. It works super fast, and the screen pops with colour, unlike any other handheld I have seen! My only niggle with the console is the battery life, but in the time between charges, I get more enjoyment than I have ever gotten with a gaming device! The games are improving, and the prices are now decent. Waste no more time in getting a Vita, it's worth it!

I got this on the day of release (preordered it), and product works fine, everything was in great condition and the price wasn't bad either.

After playing around with my new vita, I'm absolutely saddened that it's not all too popular, this is by far the most amazing portable console around, the lack of games at launch and shortly after launch sadly stopped the console from taking off, but looking at the current game library, there are a ton of games that I want to play now, with quite a few incoming. The library still isn't massive, but Sony have realized that and are in the middle of fixing their mistakes.

At this price, there really is no reason not to buy this amazing piece of hardware, especially if you plan on buying a PS4, the full remote play support makes this a must buy. I'd suggest PS+ too, amazing service and lets you experience new types of games that you may not have bought yourself, well worth the subscription cost.

I bought this mainly to play my ps4 via “remote play” but when I realized that I could get the “Crash Bandicoot and Spyro series” on it for just under $50 I was stoked. It plays well and the nostalgia is immense. I love my vita. The one downside is the lack of exclusive titles with it currently, but I believe there are more to come.

P.s Little Big Planet VITA is a really good game!

With new price bundled with game looks an awesome deal especially with rumours of off tv play on ps4. Very tempting but must wait till I get ps4 or will get in trouble with misses but soooooo very tempting. Hmmmm quality time with my lady or psvita,I know what I should say I also know what I really want to say too. Mightyape you and your great deals going to end up leaving me single ;)

the price, its just a tad to expensive considering the fact you have to buy a memory card just to play games. i do recommend the system to any hardcore gamer who want to play ps3 type games on the go.

This is a great console and is a massive improvement to the psp. But the start and select buttons are a bit small and hard to press. There are some great games but there isn't to many of them. The console is a bit thicker then I expected but that isn't really a problem.

I was shocked by how much I enjoy it

Brilliant console, as good as you can imagine from a portable, but the games that this console deserves, just aren't just aren't there at the moment

The successor of the PSP is looking great. The new features of the vita has improved the gaming experience from the old PSP. Is a bit pricey but is worth it.

I really wish i could get one, but sadly i payed full price for my 3DS at launch and just had to buy a new laptop :(

Looks like an amazing console and hope it can keep up with the 3DS's wonderful sales! Hopefully i will own one buy christmas 2012!

The screen is ridiculously good. Feels like playing on a full console… Sorry I have to keep this review short I gotta go back to playing with the Vita.
