I like the remote. Bumping the ps4 controller and suddenly skipping through the video was annoying enough that I ordered this. It's also helpful because I can leave the controller charging or off and watch videos with the remote. It's an extra expense and not something you need, but it's cool and literally has a YouTube button so I reccomend.

Comes with decent Sony batteries! Haven’t really used it yet, as have PS5 games to play instead! Wish it had an Apple TV+ button ! :)

Very easy to use instead of the controller, with buttons to access Disney + and netflix straight away. It also controls the TV volume and on/off
So much better and easy to set up!
The remote is OK. It generally works well and the shortcut buttons are the apps I use so I appreciate those. The volume buttons etc control my TV. My only real complaint is that it turns itself off after maybe 10 minutes so doesn't respond on your first button press when this happens.
Somehow, the PS5 media remote can turn on and control the volume on my Sony 55 inch X80G TV! Perhaps it only works on Sony smart bravia tvs-
