PS4 DualShock 4 v2 reviews

Yes – it is just another PS4 controller – but the (obvious) thing that sets this one apart from the others is its awesome magma red colour – bought this as a second controller, so now I can game with the flatties!

Simply criminal

This red one stands out and I do not have to hunt for it, its worked great so far.

Great game and the white edition looks so much better. The pick-up option worked great ! + you get to play street fighter on a giant screen ! How cool is that.

Got mine last year and after a few months the left trigger and thumbstick decided to be best buddies and work at the same time when pushing one of them. E.g. holding the left trigger makes me walk forward in fps games. My original dualshock4 has taken more of a beating and still holds strong

The magma red is a great colour for a controller. It's just a shame that unlike the white version the red only makes up the front half of the unit.

I’ve been wanting a red ps4 controller for a while, and Mightyape finally had them back in stock! Had to get one. I was disappointed with how the package looked when it arrived, it was pretty beaten up and rugged looking, but that’s on the courier and not MightyApes fault. The controller still works great despite the condition of the box, so I can’t complain.

Unfortunately after only a month of use, the controller player view started wandering. By itself, the POV drifts upwards which is frustrating. I have to blow on it to fix it but it generally happens everytime I press R3 button. Playing Witcher 3 and this means I can't lock on to enemies without subsequently titillating the controller.

Got this for my daughter for her birthday. She loved the colour (you can't go wrong with red!) and has zero complaints. Highly recommend.

The controller itself is amazing certainly recommend buying one, and the red really helps it stand out from my room when I need to find it, but the delivery was just a bit confusing with the estimated arrival time, I'm still trying to figure out what Saturday delivery means because couriers don't deliver on Saturdays so I'm confused about that, but it may be a mistake on my part.

Great control easy to find if u misplace it. Grips on the analog is a nice new edition to the ps4 control..

My original control was all messed up upon purchase the time for shipping and handling was amazing and quick.

Got my product on time…

Was initially quite impressed with the design and build quality of the PS4 Controller, within the first 12 months – no issues! Sadly, the R2 Trigger quickly stopped working soon after… understandably MightyApe were unable to help, referring me to Sony Support. Their solution, to buy a NEW PS4 Controller as Sony would not ‘assess’ let alone ‘repair’ it. With the $99 spent, would of expected more – quite disappointed.

The PS4 Dual shock wireless controllers are beautiful to use and 10× better than the standard wired controllers. They come in a nice range of colours which I find are great when gaming with several people as you know which controller belongs to each player. Wish I could afford one of each colour as I absolutely would if I could

These Ps4 controllers may be a little expensive, but they are worth it for the quality. They are comfortable to handle and the touch pad is a great extra feature.

Good quality controller, priced well compared to shops and arrived in a timely manner.

WARNING!! if you want a fully RED color controler, this is NOT the one!! the picture may make it look like bright red.. but it's actually like red and orange had baby and end up with a GORGEOUS thing!! it's more into the orange side but it's not fully orange nor red! I love it!! I think it's one of the sexiest ones! I bought two controllers, blue one and this one and something I've noticed is that the red/orange controllers thumb grip are bit more like sand paper.. it's bit rustic and it's kinda ugly at same time it looks good! lots of grip.. so love hate kinda thing! highly recommend the controler!

Great controller with a good colour scheme. The red and black look nice together and the controller is comfortable to use. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a charging cord.

I happen to like this controller. Probably cause its the only Red one I have.
