Marilyn Janovitz writes and illustrates books along with creating assemblage images for magazines (www.marilynjanovitz.com). From her studio on Union Square she has a view the Empire State building, twenty blocks away. With binoculars at hand, she has also sighted several hawks as they glide above the city in search of lunch.
