Description

This book tells the story of a young man, John, who is an assistant manager in a toy store. His friend, Bernie, is a Vietnam veteran, and a somewhat mysterious figure who has deep discussions with John during his lunch time. Is abortion right? Is it logical to believe in the existence of God? What were the thoughts if philosophers such as Plato and Aristotle? Is it a coincidence that we live on a planet that suits us perfectly? These questions and others are discussed by John and Bernie.

Author Biography

John Jubak went to catholic schools through high school and two years of college. He spent 3 years in the army overseas and spent time in Korea, Japan and Germany. He became a wedding photographer, following in his father's footsteps. He became a Bible believing christian in 1979 and began reading and studying the Bible ever since. He liked to read about various philosophies in the light of his knowledge of the Bible and apply them to everyday life. He lives in Yonkers, New York and is married with two sons and two grandchildren. In the past he has had the opportunity to deliver messages from the Bible to his local congregation and a mission home that helps homeless men get back on their feet. He also had the opportunity to teach Sunday school.
