These 260 flash cards provide a means of quick, comprehensive review of pathology for USMLE Step One or as a study aid during the pathology course. Most cards will be organised by subject area, which reflects the presentation of pathology in medical school courses. One disease will be covered per card, with additional concept cards outlining the basics of pathology. With 130 illustrations, tables, and X-rays, half the deck will offer visual reinforcement of the information presented. FEATURES: - One disease per card (or two related diseases) - Consistently organized under the following headings: Pathophysiology, Signs and Symptoms, Characteristic Test Findings (e.g. EKG, laboratory, radiographic), Histology, Associated Conditions, Biochemistry, Treatment, Inheritance/Epidemiology, Tips for USMLE - The USMLE tips subject heading will be used to list mnemonics, clinic scenarios, and other relevant information that can be quickly used in last minute studying before the USMLE examinations - The upper corner of each card will be the "disease area that each condition falls into. This will allow users to "break and shuffle the deck to permit them to group cards if they want a more intensive review of groups of diseases - At least half of the cards have black and white illustrations
