Description

Two women from different ends of the earth discover passion in paradise--a passion threatened by secrets and impending disaster. New Zealander Cody Stanton loses her lover of five years, and then her job. But there's a silver lining. Someone in admin made a mistake and her severance check is $100,000 instead of $10,000. She rashly decides to take the money and run, and Moon Island seems like the perfect hideaway. Annabel Worth has just inherited the island, a tiny women-only resort, from an eccentric aunt. She travels there determined to uncover secrets long hidden by her very proper Bostonian family, but soon finds herself distracted by an attractive guest. Both women are burdened with secrets that could destroy the passion that ignites between them. When Hurricane Mary strikes, each must make a choice that will change her life forever.

Author Biography:

Born and raised in New Zealand, Jennifer began writing a few years after establishing one of her country's only women's bookstores in the mid-1980s. She was a literary critic and feature writer, had a stint as a political speechwriter, ran a communications consultancy business, and wrote for television and stage. Jennifer's first romance, Passion Bay, was published by Naiad Press in 1992 and kicked off the first adventure/travel romance series in lesbian fiction, and the bestselling of its kind ever published in the genre. Twenty-five years later, the next Moon Island story and the entire series in audiobook are forthcoming from Bold Strokes Books. Jennifer writes mysteries as Rose Beecham. Her current series is set in the Southwest and features sheriff's detective Jude Devine. Under a third pen name, Grace Lennox, Jennifer occasionally publishes new adult fiction. As an editor, Jennifer has specialized in new author development for three decades, and has edited countless award-winning novels and mentored many of lesfic's best-loved authors. Jennifer has one daughter and lives in Santa Fe with her spouse and animal companions. She is working on several new titles forthcoming in 2018-2019.
