To start, Band of Brothers, which is the reason I bought this, is a masterpiece. A sweeping tale that takes different perspectives on the war from real veterans, which has been portrayed as a very entertaining, emotional experience.

The Blu Ray transfer looks great, audio is superb, with bullets wizzing by your head and the tinting throughout the series makes it feel authentic and realistic.

This has some great special features, all worth watching, and comes in a really slick box. Although I didn't enjoy The Pacific as much, I would have bought this for Band of Brothers alone, so really it's a two for one. Worth every cent.

Both Band of Brothers and The Pacific do a great job of showing the horrors of war, countermanded by the heroics of the soldiers who fought the battles.

These are two excellant war drama's ,band of brothers about normany invasion by the allies during world war 2 is a very well thought out script and the acting is excellant . Pacfic is set during the japanese invasion of the islands surrounding the pacfic just like band of brothers it is a excellant script and acting . Both were thought provoking and might be consider to be anti-war movies they had be thinking about those times and how you would have cope.
