Description

This is the first book in an autobiographic series of how a present day author and film producer came to live in the U.S. as young a child. The series begins with this introduction to a small part of her childhood. We follow her through her interesting and different growing years to where she is an adult with an education in Psychology behind her. We find her then branching off into other areas of interest. Filled with life's experiences, good times and bad along the way, the series shows how one person dealt with the ups and downs of striving to get ahead in a world which remains difficult, sometimes strange, often times hurtful to a person of color. We find the girl growing to adulthood and motherhood. We find her tough and sensitive. We find her caring for and helping others while maintaining a tough shell and being very possessive of her private life. We find her, as were her parents ... Black and White. An enigma.
