Ever since her father had abandoned her as a child, Sarabeth Hearth stopped depending on others for happiness. She currently thrives in a career using her analytical skills working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). One day, while in the national forest on vacation, Sarabeth rescues a critically injured man who had lost his memory after falling off a cliff. A month later, the man, healed but still with no recollection of his past, shows up out of the blue at her doorstep. Although federal agents work on figuring out his identity, he tells her he trusts nobody but her because she had saved his life. Her chemistry with the man is undeniable.
