Author Biography

Junaidi Payne is a conservation biologist with WWF-Malaysia and an established author, whose works include Wild Malaysia and This is Borneo (both New Holland. He lives in Sabah, Malaysia. A professional photographer and conservationist, J. Cede Prudente runs North Borneo Safari and conducts photosafari trips in Parks and Wildlife Reserves in Sabah. His images are in constant demand for advertising, magazines and Malaysian tourism promotion material. Cede recently won the prestigious 'Best Still Photography' award at the Wildlife Asia Film Festival, with a shot of a swinging orang-utan.
