One Piece is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. In 2008 it became the highest-circulating manga series, with more than 280 million volumes of the series sold in Japan as of 2012. One Piece has received wide critical acclaim from reviewers, primarily for its art, characterization, humor and story.
