Description

One is an eight-week small group study that leads readers to form a close-knit community in which they grow in faith together. Participants will discover the gifts that they have in one another; they will begin to move past skin-deep relationships and into intentional Christ centered community; and they will start to grow together spiritually. The eighth week is not an end; it is a beginning. When the small group finishes this study, they will be prepared to continue meeting as a community, growing in Christ together. They will be empowered to take the next steps of meeting regularly, determining their purpose and direction, deepening their faith, and serving in the community. They will be inspired to lift each other up, push each other forward, and send each other out. Inside the study you will find: Reflections from the author outlining the biblical vision for Christian community and how to make that a reality in our lives today. Questions for individual response and prompts for creative interaction. Descriptions of group activities based on the weekly lesson, designed to build community. Space to record individual and group responses.
