Description

A mother is taken to the emergency room where she's seen by a doctor for the first time in forty-two years. What started as a simple procedure has escalated into a deadly situation. Her strength and her family's bond is tested when she is taken into one surgery after another. As her medical representative, the youngest son is faced with making crucial decisions that will determine her survival. When he receives the shocking news of the existence of a tumor, his options become extremely limited and the family is thrust into an emotional roller coaster. One Hundred Seventy Days is the powerful true story of the unwavering strength of a woman and the indivisible bond of her family.

Author Biography:

Pete Nunweiler is an emerging multi-genre author. Within hours of taking his mother to the emergency room on March 18, 2015 he began a journal the events of each day. This served two purposes. First was to better communicate with his out-of-state family and second was to remove the emotion and notate the facts. Since One Hundred Seventy Days, Pete has written a paranormal fiction trilogy in which the first four chapters parallel the emotions of this memoir. He maintains gratitude and respect for medical staff and has given away his book to countless nurses he has had met. Contact him through the Contact Us link at www.petenunweiler.com.
