Most of the material contained in this book has been scavenged from the pages of The Door, a magazine which, since 1971 has used humour and satire to hold a mirror before the church. Part of the book was commissioned just for this project from The Door's far-flung staff of freelance freeloaders. Between these covers, you will find a very rough, but entertaining outline of the Bible unlike any you are likely to find in your church library.
