AUTHOR: George Wylie Henderson (1904–1965), a writer who contributed to the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s and 1930s, was born in Alabama, attended the Tuskegee Institute, and moved to New York as a young man. He worked for the New York Daily News as a printer and also wrote stories published in the News and in Redbook Magazine. He is the author of two novels, Ollie Miss (1935) and Jule (1946).

Author Biography:
