Official Microsoft Xbox One Stereo Headset reviews

Well I had previously brought a TB XO 4 headset thinking they'd suit me but due to me wearing hearing aids they whistled or just gave me lots of feedback in other words and thankfully Mighty Ape swapped the TB XO's for a Offical Xbox One headset and they fit awesomely and no feedback against the hearing aids and they make games you've previously played new life! nice n loud and can hear everything in game clearly :) Ooh and gotta make sure you update the controller as well. Hope this review helps other people make an excellent purchase.

Reports for static on headset should now be resolved due to a xbox one controller update for headset support. Now allows the mic to be used properly also :)

Solid sound, while it worked – great voice chat, while it worked. Dont buy this product if you want it to break after a few hours of game time. Becomes unresponsive and mute. Many other people have this problem online, just dies for no reason.

For the price, this headset is fantastic. Good, clear, crisp surround sound, that while lacking the depth of a more expensive set, still has a great sound. This set is also extremely comfortable, stylish and well constructed.. the only complaint I have is that I can't hear myself talk in chat.. the sound of my voice is muted out by the padding, and the users voice isn't in the mix. Maybe its a setting issue, but it's the only off-putting aspect of an otherwise excellent headset

Was skeptical about buying this headset at first but after using for a few weeks I am very happy with it. If your looking for a decent headset for under $100 I would definitely recommend this one :)

The cable connecting the headphone to the xbox, device etc is very thin and I suspect will break fairly quickly. Headphones sit very tight on your head and not comfortable for wearing for long periods.

I was umming and ahhing about purchasing the wired or wireless headset and reviewed the pros and cons.. I ended up purchasing the wired headset and didn't look back. The quality is almost studio like and you honestly feel apart of the game. I have also not noticed any excesaive battery drain when using it. Would recommend to anyone needing a decent headset.

Sounds awesome when using with Dolby Atmos App… The headset cable should be braided though!

Its a solid headset but has no mute switch on the headset line. Needs the xbox stereo adapter which it comes with. Unfortunately my stereo adapter I recieved with this purchase was faulty so eh. The sound is good, the size could be bigger but its a good headset.

As per the title!

What i really wanted was the adapter, but most places seemed to want 60 bux plus shipping for just the adapter, so getting that and the headset seemed like a steal really. Headset is decent for its price but its bulky as! For the price though, you cant complain really.

I'm baffled as to why gaming headsets are so expensive, not sure why people are willing to pay three times the cost of these. They sound great are well made and do exactly what they are supposed to. I would have given 5 stars but for me they are not that comfortable after many hours of playing but thats a small grip as they are fine in normal use.

Great stereo driver headset, very comfortable. No replacement cables, or ear pads however the build and fabric used on this model is durable. Bass response is really apparent as these are all enclosed. The headband is cushioned rubber. I've used it for over 4–5hours sessions with no irritation etc. The dolby atmos virtual surround works really well with this headset too. Best thing about this is that comes with the Headset control unit that plugs into the controller, which gives you immediate access to Volume, Mute, and Blend of Game vs Chat audio. Mic Boom folds away pretty discretely too

I don't have that much experience with headsets/head­phones, but the sound is a little quiet for me. I'm used to using my TV's speakers for my Xbox, so when I put these on, it felt quiet, and maybe quieter in one ear- I've only used them a couple times so I will have to try them out a bit longer. But my friends tell me that the mic sounds quite good, so that's good, thanks!

The Xbox One stereo headset is an all round beast. I have used it for many things from gaming, creating music, editing audio in film editing to just simply listening to stuff on my phone. The range on these is great and that makes them a must have for people who want to hear more. The microphone is also crystal clear too, but that depends on your internet connection though. All around, a great headset.

Has worked perfectly since I've had it. Surround sound in the headset is awesome and helps get the extra emersion also incredibly easy to adjust both game and chat audio.

Good all round sound, for a great price.

A good solid wired stereo headset, def worth the money, the chat audio is sounds good as well to others, only downside they can make your ears quite warm after wearing a long time, good headset if you live in a noisey location.

Fit's a bit tight on the top of the head, but still a pretty good headset

Certainly a great buy at the price. I'd highly recommend purchasing them if you don't want to spend a fortune but want good quality. Works perfect for party chat and look great.
