Martin McKenna is a freelance illustrator based in the UK. In 1995 he received the British Fantasy Award for Best Artist. He works with the games industry, with Games Workshop, Hasbro, Parker Games, Wizards of the Coast, and Palladium Books. He works as a concept artist on computer games, film, and television productions, and is the author of several books about digital art, including Digital Fantasy Painting Workshop and Digital Horror Art, and is the editor of Fantasy Art Now: The Very Best in Contemporary Fantasy Art & Illustration. For Omnibus he has provided the cover art for Emily Rodda's Rondo trilogy and Ian Irvine's Grimm and Grimmer series as well as a picture book.
