Description

Nurturing Your Hidden Spirit presents a dynamic interplay between psychology and spirituality. Steffler and Steffler integrate sacred writings with scientific literature on human development, along with personal stories describing how everyday men and women have experienced the sacred in their lives. It is written for the ordinary person who's looking for more. Steffler and Steffler present the case that to be fully alive, you must nurture the spiritual dimension of your life. About the Authors: Frank and Dorothy Steffler have been married for over forty years and spent a good many of those years actively seeking and nurturing their own relationship with God. Frank has studied scripture and theology for well over twenty-five years, and Dorothy, a professor of psychology at Concordia University College of Alberta, Edmonton, is currently engaged in research investigating the interface of psychology and religion. Frank received his Bachelor of Theology and accreditation in Pastoral Biblical Theology from Newman Theological College, Edmonton. In Nurturing Your Hidden Spirit, he integrates his experiences and relationships in the construction industry with Christian spirituality and God's unconditional love. Dorothy received her Ph.D. from the University of Alberta with a specialization in lifespan developmental science. In Nurturing Your Hidden Spirit, she integrates scholarly research on psychological development with spiritual development. Frank and Dorothy have many years of experience in pastoral ministry, specializing in adult education and conducting workshops on personal growth.
