Each title in this collection is a masterpiece. The 16 bit era has aged really well compared to the early polygonal games that came shortly afterwards. I hope young kids get to try these out – the best of the best. Nintendo sure is firing on all cylinders – with their Switch, 3ds, and now Snes Classic production at peak capacity. Get in quick on this one!

I got the NES classic last year on preorder and now I've got this coming. My daughter is nuts about old school games and I cant wait to introduce her to the SNES. I have a Pi3 with all the emulators on you could want and watching my kid laugh and smile while digging into Adventure Islander and Excite Bike is an amazing feeling. True classics never die and now we get to experience them again and share them with a new generation. All respect to the new gen consoles but in my heart OLD SCHOOL IS COOL!! Get one if you can. You wont be sorry.
Worth it for Final Fantasy VI (Originally known as Final Fantasy III) alone.
A very exciting addition to Nintendo's year for those of us of a certain age. The inclusion of the previously unreleased Starfox 2 is probably worth most of the $140 alone but when accompanied by the incredible depth Secret Of Mana, Super Mario RPG and The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past and the visually beautiful Donkey Kong Country and Yoshi's Island as well as unquestionable quality in titles such as Super Mario World, Street Fighter 2 Turbo and F-Zero you're getting a sensational deal at that price. A raft of other titles and the inclusion of an extra controller (which, mercifully, will inlude a longer cord than the NES Mini ones!) as standard make this a wonderful deal.
Get in quick because Nintendo have already said that they have no plans to ship any units after December. These things are not going to hang around on shelves.
Comes with two controllers – let the good times roll !
Zelda… enough said
I did not grow up in the Era of the super Nintendo or any other previous consoles, So I didn't have a chance to experience these wonderful games, with an item like this I'm extremely excited to experience an amazing piece of gaming history.
the only downside to this console is the fact you can't play normal SNES cartridges in it, so you will be limited to only playing the games it has built into the console, they are all great games though!
Seriously. Retail stores have “Extremely Limited Stock” signs. Not sure why Nintendo would produce this as a limited edition item, it has far too much popularity to be a limited item, and I couldn't imagine why they're marketing it like this. Sure, the paperwork will say “OMG ALL UNITS SOLD”, but thats only because of lack of units. A lot of great classics on it, and I'm sure it will be a great device, but not everyone who wants one at retail price will be able to get their hands on one of these. Same thing happened with the Wii U Gamecube controller interface, and the NES classic.
Already the internet is full of people in other countries missing out on pre-sales as they sell out. All I had to do here in New Zealand was put in a mighty ape pre-order and I'm sorted…sweeeet!
I thought Ill jump on the classic edition train and buy my first one. I'm glad MA is limiting one per customer. Scalpers are not welcomed.
A great product for anyone who loves retro gaming I can not wait for this bring back the 90s I am so looking forward to Final Fantasy 3 five star rating always
