Author Biography
Julia Donaldson is an extremely prolific and well-known author. The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom are two of her best-known books - they have won many prizes and topped the best-seller charts. Julia has also written four Bananas: Spinderella, The Wrong Kind of Bark, Follow the Swallow and The Quick Brown Fox Cub, also illustrated by Lucy Richards. Julia lives in Glasgow.
Lucy Richards is a much-loved illustrator. The Magic Sky was the first picture book she wrote herself. She has also illustrated two Banana books - Mairi's Mermaid by Michael Morpurgo and The Quick Brown Fox Cub by Julia Donaldson. She lives in Bristol.
