I'd say that the first review was written by someone promoting Netatmo, as I found the experience vastly disappointing considering the cost. The setup was ok and not overly complex, but once it's running, it's quite finicky. I moved the indoor sensor after the first day, and expected the app to pick up the sensor again automatically, but I had to reinstall the app to pick it up again. The screens are not clear, and the graphs look very basic and though provide the basic info, they're not definitely designed for aesthetics. The only positive is that the sensors look nice.

Don’t bother buying as you can no longer replace the outdoor unit and this module doesn’t last very long. Disappointing.

This weather station requires an iPhone, iPad or web browser to monitor weather stats. It does this really well, the app is very well presented and works flawlessly, and I am very impressed with it. I also bought an additional indoor module (which I keep upstairs) so I can now monitor weather conditions outside, inside the main kitchen/dining area, and in the upstairs hallway. It provides me essential temperature and Co2 information to know when to open windows and ventilate the upstairs and downstairs area from bad air. You can also set up automatic notifications to be sent to your iPhone whenever certain weather and air quality conditions are met, i.e. I have a notification sent to my iPhone when the dining room goes below 10 degrees, so I know to turn on the heat pump, and a notification when the Co2 level goes above 1,000 so I know to open windows to freshen the indoor air. It's a little pricey, but it's aesthetically pleasing to look at and compliments the modern decor, and seems to be very well made. The modules themselves are quite small so they are not intrusive – you can place them on bench tops (and it becomes a talking point with guests and visitors) or behind furniture if you prefer to keep them out of sight.
