Need for Speed: Underground previews

An alright game but, to short, average graphics, no damage and a minimal amount of cars stop this game from being so much better. The music is also very niche so if you don't like it, its hard to put up with. A fun game for a while but far from revolutionary.

The game has a great selection of cars from Nissan Skylines to Subarus, the cars start off as your basic city car as you win more races on uderground yoor bank grows plus you unlock cool parts like spoilers,rims­.engine upgrades, noss and much more. Once you have got the bank you can start tricking out your ride, until it's the hottest thing on the street.

You can also get on magazine covers to get your ride known all over the world. As far as cometition goes it's pretty easy, the only thing standing in between you and victory is traffic and smashing into a walll or a poll.

There's 4 kinds different racing types for example Drag, Drift and Sprint. The game could be a bit more realistic like if you get pumeled your car dosn't get any damage at all it just slows you down. It should scratch your car waste your front and rear bumpers smash your windows your engine should be able to blow or give up and you lose, and have to spend money to fix your ride. Anyway a great overall game.

This is the best racing game i have ever played. Its got all the good aspects of a good game, plus even more, its got all the great street racing cars to date, all the makers of parts and excelent vinals, toped off with excelent graphics.

Overall this is a must buy for all racers.

I have been waiting tentatively fo this release, and finally this morning it arrived. WOW, this game is hot! The graphics are outstanding and the handling of the cars is far superior to other driving games.

The options of entering drift and drag races brings a new air of excitement to the now standard driving sim, and the ability to unlock an enormous array of performance parts alone makes the game a standout.

Only real gripes I have to make are, as is the same with the Gran Turismo series, there is no damage when you carelessly collect a passing car, or drift too wide into a fountain, and the races are quite short in length but this is keeping with the illegal street racing scene so we cant expect to be racing all night now can we.

This said, NFS: Underground is leaps and bounds above most other driving games, and is a great starting point for EA. I can't wait for the next version.

This game is seriously fast action, and has a great custom soundtrack. the game is meant to be the benchmark in where games go from here.. this is awesome!
