When I heard this game was coming to 360 I couldn't help bit get excited so many memories of this timeless game in its original from and now in HD my expectations were high, And I wasn't disappointed it plays like the original with all the classic commentary and a new remix mode that will keep you busy for many hours… If there is any cons with the game, its the fact its a stand alone game so the price is up there may have been better as a arcade download etc… But if your a die hard fan you wont be disappointed and you'll end up saying to yourself “Man I missed this Game!” 9/10

Essentially, NBA Jam is an update of the classic, with 2010 rosters and a few legend characters. If you enjoyed the original or NBA Hangtime back in the day, you'll love it. It's 2 on 2 arcade hoops with ridiculous over-the-top dunks and similarly absurd commentary (“BOOM SHAKA LAKA”).
The only problem is that it just doesn't feel quite big enough to be a fully-fledged retail release, even with online multiplayer and a Remix Tour to add to the Classic Campaign. It's sort of halfway between a DLC game and a full retail release.
That said, it's still just as fun as it always was, and anyone looking for a basketball game that's a bit more arcade and a bit less serious would do well to check it out.
A brilliant remake of the classic NBA Jam from days gone by. Easy to pick up gameplay that'll keep you entertained for hours.
The Good: Easy to master gameplay. Great sound effects and commentary. A variety of game modes in the new Remix tour. Fully Licenced NBA players and NBA legends.
The Bad: A.I. Starts to get amazing when you are winning, basically it all comes down to the 4th quarter. Can be frustrating blocking dunks.
Overall I would recommend this game, especially at mighty ape's awesome prices.
Remember NBA Jam on Super Nintendo? Well Boom-Shaka-Laka it's back. This fast paced, super addictive game is all about ridiculous gravity defying dunks and fast arcade style play. Perfect game to buy for a quick time waster or even better with mates. One of the major complaints levelled at NBA Jam is that it perhaps should have been released as an XBL download and I understand that criticism, but with enough single player and online play to satisfy most people I can't help but feel if you are realistic you'll be pleased with what you get.
