In view of the recent awareness of the carcinogenicity of some synthetic dyes, they have to be phased out. Natural dyes are an eco-friendly alternative to these hazardous dyes. The book covers all the aspects of natural dyeing. It deals with the optimization of dyeing parameters; with different mordanting agents;colourfastness tests and development of wide range of products.
