National Lampoon's Vacation
The Griswald’s have planned all year for a great summer vacation. From their suburban
Chicago home, across America, to the wonders of Wally World Fun Park in California,
every step of the way has been carefully plotted. Except a few hundred hysterical
National Lampoon’s Vacation is sublimely goofy comedy, thanks largely to Chevy
Chase in his signature role of Clarke Griswald. The inept but sincere Clarke takes
misfortune in his stride. So what if they loose all their money when their new car gets
wrecked and it’s not too bad when Cousin Eddie deposits sour Aunt Edna in their
backseat for a ride to Pheonix. What really keeps Clarke’s eyes on the road is a flirtation with a mysterious blonde (Christie Brinkley) in a red Ferrari. For those along for the ride, National Lampoon’s Vacation is a jolly jaunt.
National Lampoon's European Vacation
A Silly, Fun SequelL
The first time the Griswald’s took a trip in National Lampoon’s Vacation, moviegoers
everywhere went along for the ride…and went bonkers! Now, they’re into even zanier
sightseeing in National Lampoon’s European Vacation.
Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo return as Clarke and Ellen, winners of a European
tour on which their teenagers Rusty and Audrey join them. To name but a few mishaps
Clarke tries left-sided English driving, leaving Stonehenge unhinged and in Bavaria a
slap-dancing polka tur ns into a slaphappy free- for-all.
It’s holiday havoc for the Griswald’s and your high road to hilarity!
THE GRISWALD’S ARE ON A ROLL
When Clarke Griswald puts his mind to something, we soon realise he hasn’t got one.
Still, nothing stops him when the vacation bug hits. This time, he’s chosen Las Vegas, the new family entertainment capital of America!
Chevy Chase returns as bubbly, bumbling Clarke Griswald in Vegas Vacation. A jokersare- wild laughfest, including two other stars from past vacations. Beverly D’Angelo is back as wife Ellen, doting on the guys she calls “Sparky,” and Randy Quaid again delights as grubby goofball Cousin Eddie. Joining Vacation veterans are Ethan Embry (That Thing You Do!) and Marisol Nichols as the Griswald teens who love the round-theclock nightlife - as long as they don’t share it with Mum and Dad. From Sigfried and Roy’s extravaganza to a Hoover Dam tour, from cruising to losing to amorous crooning, watch Clarke try to keep family and wallet together!
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Yule Crack Up!
This holiday season, Clarke Griswald (Chevy Chase) vows his clan will enjoy “the most
fun- filled old-fashioned family Christmas ever.” Before yo u can sing “Fa- la- la-la-lah,” he decks the halls with howls of folly in the perennial favourite National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
Seeing is believing. There are 25,000 lights on the roof, an exploding turkey on the
dining room table and a SWAT team taking siege outside. A festive supporting cast
including Beverly D’Angelo, Randy Quaid, Julia Louise-Dreyfus, Juliette Lewis, William Hickey and a John Hughes script full of wit, heart and sheer goofiness. Yule love it!
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2
When Cousin Eddie joined Clarke Griswald and his family for National Lampoons
Christmas Vacation, the movie quickly became a holiday institution. An institution, of course, is where many think Cousin Eddie should reside. He’s baaaaack in Christmas
Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie’s Island Adventure.
Randy Quaid again plays crude but lovable Eddie and Miriam Flynn returns as his wife in another comic skid on the Vacation banana peel. In a way, Christmas has always been a test of survival for Eddie and his brood and that’s truer than ever when they receive an expenses-paid holiday to
ur of the South Pacific and end up with shipwrecked on a remote island.
Fred Willard, Ed Asner, Eric Idle in a zany cameo and many more join this season of
comfort and joy which means little joy for Eddie and lots of joy for Vacation fans.
