We will explore that in this journal. The things we ignore are sometimes messages from our own inner knowing. When you practice noticing what's inside of you, you can start to have a conversation with yourself. Experiencing emotions is one of the ways our bodies communicates with our intellect. When you can take the time to notice yourself without judging, you'll connect to feelings more easily. Use this journal to fully listen to what your body needs to tell you. As you practice accepting your feelings without shaming or criticizing yourself, you will grow in self-confidence and awareness. Sometimes our feelings get our attention before we "logically" know something. Being more aware of this will improve the conversations you have with yourself! Taking care of yourself is more than wellness visits to your health care practitioner. It's more than a visit to the spa for some pampering. Really understanding who you are inside is what it means to take care of yourself. Knowing what you think about the world around you is part of that. Having an opinion on world events is what makes you YOU. Your task here is not to rule your body and tell it what to do, but to simply watch how it works. If you can transition from having an opinion on the state of your clothing size, to letting your body tell you what it needs, you will find out how you really feel. Your body will know it's safe to communicate with your mind. Your intuition will strengthen, your gratitude will multiply, and you will find peace. Use this four-step process to record your body's messages, and the opinions that arise from your personality. You'll find they can live in harmony when you practice letting them talk to each other inside of your body. As you continue to practice this way of communicating with yourself, the outward expression of who you are will shine even more brightly. You will find your truth and your joy. This journal is designed for you to fill the pages with your words. This process of connecting to your feelings will work best when you can notice without judging. Use each step to fully listen to what your body needs to tell you. As you practice accepting your feelings without shaming or criticizing yourself, you benefit even more. Try to allow your body the freedom to talk without fear of criticism. Use these sentence starters talk to all the parts of yourself, then simply fill in the blank. Write whatever you need to inside the covers of this book, it's for your eyes only. The four steps are repeated in sets of seven, giving you week-by-week pages to fill in a month.
