Unfortunately, the outer packaging is the actual game box. This game is not packaged in a traditional monopoly box. It has rough, exposed cardboard edges and is sealed with lots of sticky tapes that peels away the printed design of the box when opening (Of no fault of Mighty Ape). Such a shame as the game and contents itself are beautifully made and finished. Take care when opening the box so as to not damage it if you want the box displayed as a collector's item.
