"Different but still fun"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

We got this to play as a family and its just as fun as normal “monopoly”. But I have to say the money and the hotels are a bit confusing to start, but you get used to it's still fun to play:)

"Pretty Cool Game"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Bought this to play as a family, and the kids (7&8) love it! The money is still being doled out by an adult, as it's dealing in millions rather than hundreds, but the kids are fast getting the idea. Only problem with the game is there aren't enough apartments (houses) to go round. Love the pictures on the board and property cards, that show places around NZ not yet seen (or no longer able to be seen).

"Not bad, but different to the original"
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

This is a slightly new take on monopoly. While in essence it is the same game the big difference is that volume of money (millions vs hundreds). This makes I thiit a bit confusing. The quality of the money also seems slightly inferior to previous editions

New Zealand has changed over the last few decades. This special anniversary edition celebrates 21 years of NZ's favourite board game with a modern day equivalent that was voted and chosen by New Zealanders. Choose from a range of new tokens including a mobile phone, jandals, sheep or even a jar of Vegemite! Rents have sky rocketed all over the country, and you can build property in places like the Waitomo Caves, Cathedral Square or next to the Oakune Carrot. Play to win New Zealand – in millions of dollars not just hundreds.
