There aren't that many clumping litter products available on the NZ market so it was great to see Mightyape selling their own. Monkey Business clumping litter clumps well enough making clean-up easy. There is quite a floral fragrance incorporated into the litter, which some cats may not like. Overall, great litter and economical when on special.

I hate leaving one star reviews, but in this case I feel morally obligated to do so. This stuff is… Awful. It's just awful. It's like powdered concrete: just add pee to activate. Might be okay for a single cat, but if you have more than one cat then don't bother. It doesn't clump so much as it turns into a bizarre, ultra-sticky, ultra-heavy, foul-smelling sludge. We are going to have to throw out our litter tray, because even with daily cleaning it's impossible to scrape out this sludge because it sticks with such tenacity. On the plus side, you could sell it as an alternative to filler putty, so long as you don't mind the smell. Sorry, guys. Big fail on this one. :(

Hi, Just a comment about the new packaging. When I slit the sellotape, the 20kg bag was slit as well. I have to take small quantities up some steps to our laundry (due to the weight and my age), where I store it in pails in the broom cupboard. The split caused an awful mess in the entry way and in the laundry. I will know next time, but if you do change the packaging again, please do leave a bit of extra space so the plastic sack won't automatically be hit by the blade also. The product as ever is excellent.
