There's a lot of good content in this book which is extremely helpful, however I can't help but feel that half of the book is a giant ad for companies that Tony either owns or is associated with. He finished the book suggesting you donate your spare change to a company that helps feed starving kids (great), which is a company that he owns (not so great). I have no doubt that Tony is a great and caring individual, and he comes from the right place with this book, but a lot of it feels like it's designed to draw you to use his products.
The book is very much built for the American market, and while some principals are universal, a lot of the advice is not relevant for the NZ market. He hypes up this super portfolio for the whole book, which could have just been shared from the start and saved about 200 pages on this already long and dense read.
The book in the middle stages heavily relies on using an app to determine your savings goals and similar, however the app is iOs exclusive, so if you're like me with an android phone then a good 10% of the book can't actually be accessed.
Save yourself 30 bucks and just google the principals of the book. If you're still interested, buy it, but saving that use your $30 dollars for something else.
