As a stand alone flick this isn't bad for its era. Sadly it falls well short of your Star wars flicks but then i dont think this was ever in direct competition. As a BSG fan is was nice to compare the appearance of the Pegusus in this against the new series thats on TV at the moment. The only thing worth pointing out with this is its really just a rehash of the TV series with a minimal amount of editing. Unless you are a mad keen fan, if you already own the TV series box set then dont bother. Acting is at its hammy best and for all my praise of the new series you just can't beat Dirk Benedict with a cigar in his mouth smirking and sleazing his way around the fleet. 7 out of 10.
